Or would you attempt to keep it a secret for as long as you could, maybe revealing the secret on your deathbed or something. I suppose you don't have the right to make that decision for someone else because, again, they'll spend the rest of their lives on the deserted island because you 'wished' them there. Honestly, that's a very difficult question to ponder. That question is simplified down to this, basically, if you were stuck on a deserted island with no hope of getting out of it, beyond a shadow of a doubt, would you, if you had the choice, bring someone along with you to ease the loneliness, knowing that you're gonna doom them to live out the rest of their lives on a deserted island with just you. This movie poses a legitimately interesting question. ![]() Rating: PG-13 (Nudity|Action/Peril|Sexuality) With the lives of 5,000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all. As Jim and Aurora face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction until they discover the ship is in grave danger. The plane is now on display in the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte. On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. In May 2010, they released a report which said that Sullenberger had made the right decision. The National Transportation Safety Board investigated the event. 24 passengers and two rescuers had to go to a hospital, but most of them left the hospital before the end of the day. They were taken to both sides of the river. The boats rescued the passengers and crew. Sullenberger had landed the plane near some boats, and the first boats reached the plane a few minutes after the landing. ![]() The passengers climbed out onto the wings and life rafts of the plane. Unfortunately, because a passenger opened a rear emergency exit door, the plane started to slowly fill with water and sink. The pilots landed the plane in the river at 3:31 pm. Secondly, the passengers would drown if they were not rescued quickly, as it would be hard to swim in the cold river. Firstly, the plane would break apart if it hit the water too quickly or if it hit something else. They decided that they could not land at an airport and instead they would have to land the plane in the river. They thought about heading back to LaGuardia Airport or trying to land at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The pilots, Chesley Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles, realized that they needed to land the plane as soon as possible. Some of the geese were sucked into the plane's two engines. Two minutes after the plane left the ground, it flew into a flock of Canada geese. It was going to fly to Charlotte, North Carolina, and then it would fly onwards to Seattle, Washington state. The plane took off from LaGuardia Airport at 3:26 pm. The movie is named Sully, after the plane's main pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger. In 2016, a movie was made recreating the crash. Because of this, the event was called the Miracle on the Hudson. ![]() ![]() The event was remarkable because no one died. The plane was on a commercial flight with 155 people on board and had left LaGuardia Airport six minutes earlier, but it had to land after a flock of birds hit its engines.
